Guyer & Regules announces the addition of Marcelo García Pintos as a partner of the firm from January 1, 2025. This appointment conveys the firm’s unrelenting commitment with professional excellence, promotion, and recognition of professional talents, in pursuit of dedication in serving our clients.  

Marcelo joined Guyer & Regules when he was a student at 20 years old and has since then built a prominent career, thanks to his outstanding talent and significant contributions to client success.

During these years, García Pintos’ professional practice has been valued and renowned by coworkers and clients due to his dedication, ethics and cooperative spirit, values that mirror the culture that Guyer & Regules has shaped in more than 100 years of leadership.  

As a partner, Marcelo will contribute from his broad experience in several practice areas such as Tax Law, Agribusiness, Real Estate and rendering advice to individuals. His solid training and analytical capacity have enabled his involvement in prestigious academic events, such as the Agricultural Conferences of the Accountants Association and the Uruguayan Tax Studies Institute. Marcelo teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Tax courses at Universidad ORT.

Besides his remarkable career, he has actively contributed to the firm’s internal development, having proposed and implemented initiatives that have strengthened the firm’s capability to provide an excellent service to our clients.
