We are pleased and honoured to announce that as of January 1, 2024, Santiago Madalena will become a partner of our firm.

Santiago joined the firm in 2009, one year before graduating as a lawyer at the University of the Republic, joining the Labour and Litigation teams. In 2020 he obtained a Master's Degree in Business Law from the University of Montevideo.

In his professional trajectory, his experience in the Washington D.C. office of Littler Mendelson, a renowned American law firm specialized in labour and employment matters, stands out.

In addition to his professional activity, Santiago has an intense academic activity, being a professor of undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Labour Law and related subjects at the University of Montevideo and the Catholic University of Uruguay, having written several papers in these areas. He also actively participates as speaker in Human Resources and Labour Law events.

His performance in our Labour Department has been recognized by international publications such as "Chambers & Partners" and "Legal 500" who highlight his vast experience and human quality.
